In which the Mister and Monsters join me in reviewing YOU ARE SO NOT INVITED TO MY BAT MITZVAH (2023) currently on Netflix.  With a screenplay by Alison Peck and Fiona Rosenbloom, the film is directed by Sammi Cohen.  The story follows Stacy (Sunny Sandler) who is navigating her teen years and dreaming about the “perfect” Bat Mitzvah.  With her BFF Lydia (Samantha Lorraine), she can’t lose…or can she?  Hijinks ensue in this very over-the-top comedy that has some truly hilarious but cringey moments.  The film clocks in at 1 h 43 m and is rated PG-13.  Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
