In which the Mister andMonsters join me in reviewing WISH DRAGON (2021), currently streaming on Netflix. Writtenand directed by Chris Appelhans with additional writing credit to Xiaocao Liu, the film tells the story of Din (Jimmy Wong) a young man whopinesfor his friend Lina (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) in spite of the years that have passed. Din comes upon a dragon in a teapot (John Cho) whogrants wishes. Fromhere, the film goes on a magical ride and heartwarming end – it’s a MUSTwatch. The film is rated PG and the run time clocks in at 1 h 38 m. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
