Friday Family Film Night: THE WHALE review

In which the Mister joins me in reviewing THE WHALE (2022), currently available for buy/rent.  Directed by Darren Aronofsky and written by Samuel D. Hunter (from his play), we follow the story of a week in the life of Charlie (an amazingly heartbreaking and beautiful performance by Bredan Fraser), a man who is plagued by many health issues from his abuse of food.  He tries to reconnect with his daughter Ellie (Sadie Sink) much to his friend Liz’s (Hing Chau) chagrin.  The film has a run time of 1 h and 57 m and is rated R. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
