In which the Mister and Monsters join me in reviewing PUSS IN BOOTS: THE LAST WISH (2022) which is still in theaters but also currently available on Peacock or to buy/rent on Prime. With a screenplay by Paul Fisher and Tommy Swerdlow (additional screenplay material from Etan Cohen), from a story by Tommy Swerdlow and Tom Wheeler; the film is directed by Joel Crawford with a co-director credit to Januel Mercado. In this story, Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) finds he’s squandered 8 of his 9 lives and is off on a journey to find the mystical last wish. Along the way he finds he’s not the only one searching for the Last Wish. The film is rated PG and clocks in at 1 h 42 m. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
