Friday Family Film Night: NIGHTBOOKS review

In which the Mister and Monsters join me in reviewing NIGHTBOOKS (2021), currently available on Netflix. Directed byDavid Yarovesky, from the book by J.A. White with a script by Mikki Daughtry and Tobias Iaconis, the story follows Alex (Winslow Fegley) who finds himself trapped by an evil witch (Krysten Ritter) who expects nightly stories in return for letting him live another day. Yasmin (Lidya Jewett), another child in the house helpsAlex maneuverhis time there and is eventually swept up in Alex’s escape scheme. Will they make it out alive? You’ll have to check it out. Rated TV-PG, the film has a run time of 1 h 43 m. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
