In which the Mister joins me in reviewing MEN (2022), currently available on Showtime and to buy/rent on Prime. Written and directed by Alex Garland, the story follows Harper (Jessie Buckley), a widow who is off for a short holiday in the countryside to regroup and recover from her husband’s death/suicide.  She meets Geoffrey (Rory Kinnear) who is her landlord and then goes off to explore. The film is a blend of horror, atmosphere and some social commentary on the relations between men and women as told through Harper’s point of view.  The film has a run time of 1 h and 40 m and is rated R. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
