In which the Mister joins me in reviewing KRULL (1983), which is currently streaming on HBO Max. The film is directed by Peter Yates, from a script by Stanford Sherman, and melds sci-fi and fantasy to tell the story of Prince Colwyn (Ken Marshall) and Princess Lyssa (Lysette Anthony). On their wedding day, their nuptials are interrupted by alien invaders who come and steal Lyssa. Colwyn assembles a rag tag group and goes on a rescue mission to retrieve his love and fight the evil that has come to their planet to unleash mayhem and destruction. The film has a run time of 2 h 1 m and is rated PG. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
