In which the Mister joins me in reviewing KIMI (2022), which is currently streaming on HBO Max. Written by David Koepp and directed by Steven Soderbergh, the film follows Angela (Zoë Kravitz), an agoraphobic, work from home, tech worker who discovers something disturbing while reviewing audio snippets. She digs deeper and soon realizes that what she has is concrete audio evidence of a terribly sinister crime that’s taken place. Putting aside her debilitating fear of the outside, Angela ventures out into the Seattle streets for help and to do the right thing. However it seems that the very people behind the crime are now hot on her heels and will stop at nothing to make she she does not accomplish her task. The film has a run time of 1 h 29 m and is rated R. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
