In which the Mister and Monsters join me in reviewing EASY A (2010). The film, directed by Will Gluck with a screenplay credit to Bert V. Royal, tells the story of Olive (Emma Stone), an ordinaryhigh school teen who just blended in. Afterbeing asked to participate in a smalllie thatturns into a rumor that just keeps going, our heroine must makesome toughchoices as herstory and choices have come toultimately impactmore than just Olive. Decent writing and performances make this an enjoyable watch althoughthere are referencesto teensexuality,strong language and drugs. The film has a run time of 1 h 32 m, is rated PG-13 and is currently streaming on Hulu. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
