In which the Mister and I go way back and he joins me in reviewing E.T. THE EXTRA TERRESTRIAL (1982), from writer Melissa Mathison and director Steven Spielberg. The film tells the story of Elliott (Henry Thomas) a young boy who befriends an extraterrestrial who they call E.T., who was left behind and just wants to go home. Elliott, along with his older brother, Michael (Robert MacNaughton), and younger sister Gertie (Drew Barrymore) all band together to try and find a way to get their little friend home. The film has a run time of 1 h and 55 m is rated PG. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
