Friday Family Film Night: ALL THE OLD KNIVES review

In which the Mister joins me in reviewing ALL THE OLD KNIVES (2022), currently streaming on Prime Video. The film, with a script from the book by Olen Steinhauer, is directed by Janus Metz. The film follows Henry (Chris Pine) who’s been tasked by a secret group in the CIA to wrap up the loose ends from a terrorist attack that left over 100 innocent people dead. He reconnectswith people who worked in the organization at the time and comes back in contact with hisold lover, Celia (Thandiwe Newton), who he loved fiercely but who left without a trace after the incident. After 8 years much has changed and you can feelthe crackling between the two as they meet fordinner and go over the details of the day that forever changed them both. The film is 1 h and 41 m and is rated R. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
