Friday Family Film Night: ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT review

In which the Mister joins me in reviewing ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT (2022), currently available on Netflix. Directed by Edward Berger, from a script by Edward Berger, Lesley Paterson and Ian Stokell, the film is based on Erich Maria Remarque’s novel. The film follows Paul (Felix Kammerer) a young man sold on the propaganda peddled by his country elders and he enlists and goes to war – in this film WWI. One by one his 3 friends quickly become casualties of war and Paul is left to pick up the pieces and carry on as the war rages merciless around him. Fantastic performances, a compelling story and top notch production values make this a MUST WATCH. The film has a run time of 2 h and 28 m and is rated R. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
