Friday Family Film Night: A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT review

In which the Mister joins me in reviewing A GIRL WALKS HOME ALONE AT NIGHT (2014), currently available to watch on AMC+ and Tubi, but also for rent on Prime. The film, written and directed by Ana Lily Amirpour, follows the Girl (Sheila Vand), a vampire who inhabits an Iranian town called Bad City and who watches over and doles out punishment on the worst of the town’s citizens. Here she meets Arash (Arash Marandi) and falls in love with the troubled young man. The film is gorgeouslyfilmed in black and white but sadly the story itself doesn’t offer any new or interesting stories to add to thevampire lore. The film is 1 h and 41 m and is unrated PG-13. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
