Friday Family Film Night: 8-BIT CHRISTMAS review

In which the Mister and Monsters join me in reviewing 8-BIT CHRISTMAS (2021), currently available on HBO Max. From the book and screenplay byKevin Jakubowski and directed by Michael Dowse; the film follows Jake Doyle (masterfully embodied by the lovely and talented Neil Patrick Harris) in the present as he bonds with his daughter, Annie (Sophia Reid-Gantzert) over the story of the Nintendo Christmas, his friends, family and all the hilarity that ensued in the holiday season. Winslow Fegley is 80s Jake and Steve Zahn turns in a sweet performance as John Doyle, Jake’s Dad. An absolute fun and delightful holiday/family film – go see it STAT!The film has a run time of 1 h 37 m and is rated PG. Please note there are SPOILERS in this review.
