Today I am so grateful for filmmakers and storytellers.

The best movie I have seen this year so far has been SOUND OF METAL, a heartbreaking film about a drummer who is losing his hearing, his girl and the life he had. But there is an unexpected beauty at the end that took my breath away. Variety is doing a screening and Q&A tonight and while I missed the film I am watching some of the actors/director/composer and editor and I am in heaven. I have always loved films and discussing films so to see these people talk about the film and the process and how the film has impacted their lives has been something to behold.

I am grateful to Amazon Studios and Darius Marder and the rest of the cast and crew for bringing this story into the world. Much love to them all.
