Today is Uncle Leo’s birthday. Leo is one of my oldest friends and a forever friend. He’s been there for the good and bad times and I consider him my brother from another mother. Everyone should have a Leo in their life. I love that we are the kind of friends that don’t need to see each other all the time but can pick up from wherever we left off. I love that he is always honest with me, never sugar coats stuff and loves with everything in him and makes you feel like you’ve hit a jackpot. I’ve known him since college and is one of the few humans I always make sure to check in with. Since covid we haven’t seen each other as much as I would like but he’s never far from my thoughts and when we do manage to see each other, we realize how happy and blessed we are to have each other. He’s already gotten his 2 shots but I am waiting still on the list….I can’t wait to see him again and give him a great big hug.
