We had construction done at the house – kids closets, linen closet, gutters, a redo of the laundry area – it was a lot and the kids wound up sleeping on the air mattress in the living room for the last few days. Today was a clean up day. The husband helped and was amazing. Today I am grateful that I was lucky enough to meet my soulmate and best friend and that he’s better than anything I ever dreamed. He’s caring and kind and super helpful and the day went by in a blur from all the laughs because on top of everything he also has an awesomely wicked sense of humor. As you can tell I am a huge fan. And he ordered Indian food for dinner which to me is a win-win. He will tell you that he got lucky landing me but after kissing so many frogs, I didn’t do so bad for myself either.
