Today I am grateful for contractors. We started a home project yesterday and while part of me wishes I had waited – construction noise + remote learning is NOT a good combo – I know I will be so happy once the work is done and my home is more orderly and organized. We’re doing the kids room closets and the linen closet on the second floor. redoing my laundry area in the basement and on the outside, redoing the gutters. Being a homeowner is nerve wracking sometimes but I really love our house and love when we get to do the projects on our list. We’re still far from where I want to be but each new project tackled and completed brings us closer to where I ultimately I want to be.

I am super grateful for Juan, the contractor, who we met when we were still renters. He does amazing work and is extremely reliable.
