Today I am grateful for kids and their creativity. This has been a surreal time for many but I cannot imagine going through all this as a young person – how absolutely crushing and frightening. We’ve tried to keep busy by doing crafts for the grandparents and that led to a real appreciation for painting. The kids have channeled some of that onto the canvas and its been great to see what has come out of that. Some pieces have been more intricate and others more melancholy or spartan. I suppose it might reflect their feelings that day. But its another way to get conversation going with the kids to see how they are and how they doing during all this crazy living we are all currently doing.
