I am grateful for storytellers – as a kid, movies were a huge part since my parents were immigrants who used movies as a way of learning the language. TCM is doing a Hitchcock marathon this weekend and while the nostalgic in me loves this and the trip down memory lane, listening to how Hitchcock behaved toward his female stars leaves me sick and questioning whether I can watch his old films. As the mother of daughters its stories like these that make my blood boil and makes me sad that I cannot watch his movies and support the behavior. It is something to ponder.
