Today I am grateful for community.

Last year, in Spring, I joined a virtual film discussion group that meets every Wednesday. Its a nice bunch of people and as a lover of films its great to talk and breakdown movies with people who each bring their own perspective and add to the conversation. Some meets have been heated and others have flowed smoothly. We’ve veered on tangents and even discussed politics with respect and understanding. I think with the isolation as a result of the virus and Winter, it’s nice to have this outlet to connect with other people and voices. I truly believe no man can be an island unto themselves – we need people and community. Its nice to have that, especially now.
