With case numbers of people infected with the virus and deaths rising, I am especially grateful for the opportunity to have my kids learn remotely. Nothing will replace the in-person learning experience but I am grateful to our state and school district for implementing processes that allow our kids to learn from home. Its been rough but I feel better knowing both kids are well and healthy at home. Hopefully by September of this year all of this will be a distant memory.

I am appreciative to have a job that allows me to work from home and help my kids. I am grateful to live in a society with modern conveniences like Wi-Fi and access to computer equipment. I know we are fortunate to afford these things and even with such a tough time, remember to be appreciative for all the things we have and not dwell too much on the bad stuff.
